The Joy of Christmas

Each year, the Advent visual identity at Athens First UMC is inspired by the Sanctuary Choir’s music. In 2014, the choir performed the Magnificat, a piece centered around the Virgin Mary, evoking feelings of joy and comfort. The design drew from these emotions, with the goal of making people feel like they were receiving a warm hug—a sentiment that perfectly captures the essence of Advent. The "O" in the design symbolizes this embrace, reflecting the comforting and joyous spirit of the season.
